The Biccari Woods
Biccari is a small village in the Monti Dauni, a natural area within which a group of citizens with many ideas opened a community cooperative that represents a special model of community model capable of building shared responses to collective needs. The citizens, offering their creativity, their skills, their know-how, have managed to build something beautiful in an area that was not in great demand and have been able to attract tourism, but also smart workers and hikers. Now, in this small village in the Apennines, one can enjoy walking and cycling adventures, eat local delicacies, sleep in tree houses; a welcoming area full of possibilities has been created, even in a place that was previously forgotten.
