Volunteers for Beauty. The project, promoted by the Diocese of Verona, works to promote the beauty of the city's historical and artistic heritage through five actions: beauty, accessible and inclusive dissemination of culture, collaboration through networking, training and the dissemination of art. Within two years of the Foundation's existence, its volunteers (more than a thousand) have ensured the opening of seventeen of the city's churches and art experts accompany visitors on guided tours through the many secret beauties of the Scaliger city: churches and places of devotion, traversed by ancient pilgrims who found in the city the same urban topography as the Holy City. In this way, volunteering itself becomes a heritage that expands and extends, developing social relations among young people, and culture becomes the vehicle for this form of socialisation.
